I had a look at another conversion tool often recommended on here called Handbrake, but didn't have any success with that either.
I also tried using the word "speed" instead of "rate" coupled with 40X, 30X etc., since that's what appears in the video when the squared brackets keys are used to slow down / speed up, but although the file size increases after conversion it plays back at normal speed. Over the past couple of hours I've been trying to get it to work properly, but without a positive result I'm afraid. Please look at the steps I describe in the OP and see if you notice any mistaken/wrong steps.Īpologies, you did indeed mention that fact. As per my original post, I end up with a slowed down video with no sound.
